Earth Bean Coffee was started by my partner David & I (Joan) in 2016. When we first started dating we discovered our shared preference for organic products. On every date, we would seek out restaurants and cafes around Los Angeles that offered 'clean' menus. We felt lucky to live in a city with so many options. Besides the obvious health reasons for eating organic, it just tastes better!

Coffee was an after thought at the beginning of our clean eating journey. Overtime we became aware that some crops are more highly sprayed with pesticides and chemicals than others due to their growing conditions, pests, etc. Unfortunately conventional coffee is in the highly sprayed category. As coffee lovers, we started to seek out organic coffee shops and roasters dedicated to organic and were left with only a few options. This is when Earth Bean Coffee was born out of love - a love for organic products & a love for their positive impacts.
